Green oil composition
methods for Green Oil in ethylene production Green oil is an oligomer formed in all C2, C3 and C4 hydrogenation reactors of ethylene plants and other petrochemical production facilities. Green oil is a mixture of C4 to C20 unsaturated and reactive components with about 90% aliphatic dienes and 10% olefins plus paraffins. Camellia oil has much chemical composition in common with olive oil, with high amounts of oleic acid and linoleic acid and low saturated fats, and is often titled “Eastern Olive Oil.” Camellia oil was not only extensively used for cooking, but it has been used in traditional Chinese medicine and in cosmetics as well. Although there is considerable variation between the ratios of organic molecules, the elemental composition of petroleum is well-defined: Carbon - 83 to 87%. Hydrogen - 10 to 14%. Nitrogen - 0.1 to 2%. Oxygen - 0.05 to 1.5%. Sulfur - 0.05 to 6.0%. Metals - < 0.1%.
